Elaine-Week 4

This year, we have a huge garden! There are four plots around the yard with different fruits and vegetables. This picture is just one-third of the gardens and it has mostly zucchini, yellow squash and tomatoes.

Today, mom went and picked this week's crop of zucchini and squash. We got a whole bunch of them, so I am excited to eat some fresh veggies for dinner. I also used picnik for the first time with this picture and it was so cool! Thank-you to Patricia for telling us about it :) I love trying new things with the water mark.

Esther Week 4!

" Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage."

Next Monday  is the 4th of July.  I want to remind everyone to not be swallowed up in all the activities (although have fun too, fireworks, parades, cookouts, water balloons...) but to remember how the founding fathers based our country on the Word of God, and many gave their lives so that we could enjoy a free nation built on that foundation.

..::Patricia::.. (Week Four)

This post has to be about my cousin because,

1. I love her SO much,

2. She is coming from Florida to stay with us for ten days,

3. She is only one month older than my twin and I. So we are triplet's:)

and 4. She is an amazing, fun, wonderful, sweet person!

Week Four-Emily Rhea

My brother, Stephen, and I are co-blogging today. I was running out of ideas for a post and he offered to help me out. So if this post is lame....it's totallly HIS FAULT! :)

We have been exercising at Red Rocks, (a natural amphitheater) running

the bleachers and walking hundreds of stairs is a pretty thorough workout,

Elaine-Week 3

Near our house is a large botanical garden called Powell Gardens. Last week, we were able to take a trip there with some friends of ours. The flowers there are just beautiful! :)

Esther ~week 3~

 

 This is a picture of my Grandparents, taken at my cousin's wedding last year.

I love how happy they both look (even though they aren't looking at the the camera).  

This fall will be their 59th anniversary.  They are such a good example!

This is a picture I took about a year ago of an adorable, darling, kitty...

It is actually one of the Oggs cats:)

All I have to say is that, I LOVE CATS. They are so purry, fuzzy, unconcerned, and carefree!

Now all I wish is that we were NOT renting....*sniff*

Emily Week Three

Yesterday we went with some friends to a nearby organic blueberry patch and picked about five gallons. We went about 6:30 in the morning, trying to beat the heat. It turned out beautiful! A slight breeze was blowing and the trees were full of ripe beautiful blueberries! We had a great time! (We even had a blueberry fight or two.) :)

I didn't think I liked them, but these were the best fruit I ever had! (It turned out to be a great breakfast too.)

Norma took these pictures for me since I forgot my camera. (What kind of photographer am I??)
