Its been so long since I'v posted

because my older brother just got married ;) ...

and I got to make their wedding cake!!

I made the layers ahead of time and froze them,

then put it all together a couple days before the wedding.

I used food coloring gel just like you would water colors

to paint wild flowers on the fondant.

I was grateful it didn't melt and fall apart while it

sat in the sun for a few hours during the reception.
