Kallie...

Hi again!!!

It's been awhile! I've been busy with a lot of fun things the past few months!

Here is a quick update:

In December we had a lovely Christmas spent with family! I just love Christmas time!

Right before Christmas, we lost our sweet Nonnie (grandmother).  We miss her dearly, but are looking forward to being with her again someday soon with Christ!

We had a lovely Valentines day! (as always!)

In March, I was able to go meet my pen-pal who I have been writing since September 2012! It was such a blessing!
 We met at the Capital!

Ashley....

Hello all!

I hope your day has been going well! Since I am new to the blog, I thought I would take some time and introduce myself. My name is Ashley and I live with my family in CO.

Beautiful, isn't it?
I have an amazing family: 5 brothers and 2 sisters. I'm the oldest and love spending time with my siblings.

My family
Currently, we live on 60 acres and do have a couple animals. We're planning on getting four cows for meat in about a month, but right now we have a couple chickens and an adorable cat.

I love music and play the piano, fiddle, and harp. I have just recently started taking harp lessons, and love how the harp sounds!

I'm excited to be able to blog on Five Perspectives!!

God bless the rest of your day!

Esther Ruth........

Hello All! My brother Andy took me to his Senior banquet in January!  It was a mystery dinner in which everyone had a special part to play! It was a mock wedding and I played the brides grandmother and Andy was my son the brides uncle! (neither of us were the killer by the way! :)  It was a fun filled evening lots of laughing and trying to figure out who did it! Thanks Andy for taking me as your guest!

New things going on around here........

Hello Blog readers!

Thanks for being patience with me! Lots of new things going on in my life! First of all we are saying goodbye to Hanna and Tricia today!  I really enjoying having you both be a part of this blog! Love to you both!

Second we are welcoming Ashley to our team! We are excited for the blog to start up again! Please check back every week for a new post from the girl of the week! I pray this blog will be an encouragement for many! Here again is our missions statement if you have not read about the purpose of this blog:

Five Perspectives Blog
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Five Perspectives blog
is to encourage each other by sharing about our daily lives through pictures
and sharing Scripture verses that are impacting our lives to the Glory of Jesus Christ!
I Thessalonians 5:11 says,
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
Colossians 2:1-3 says,
“For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea
and for all who have not seen me face to face,
that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love,
to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery,
which is Christ,  in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”
Philippians 2:1-2 says,
“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love,
any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,
complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love,
being in full accord and of one mind.”
