Esther ~Week 12~

This is one of my cousin's kids, so she is my second cousin. Her name is Anna.  Last weekend my family went to an out-of-town funeral (of my uncle).  It was very unexpected.  We stayed longer and spent time with our family, especially all the little kids of my cousins (8 in all).  We enjoyed our time with them.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 4-5

To everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die....
A time to weep, and a time to laugh.
A time to mourn, and a time to dance.

Natalya~Week 11~The Flower will Fade

Psa 103:15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

As beautiful as this rose is, it will one day fade, so will all things, and all people. Are you ready?

I took this photograph last year in our garden. I then edited it on Picnik for a more "ethereal" kind of look.

Week ~11~

Here's a post from Patricia who is away from home:
Hey everybody!  You may have noticed that I haven't been posting the past few weeks..That is because I have been in Florida enjoying the sunshine and being REALLY busy. And I won't be posting for the rest of July, until after August 24th. (when we get back)  I feel bad I am shirking, I just know I will never be able to find the time to post while I am here. So until August 24th:)
Hugs, Patricia

Hello Everyone!

Hello everyone! This is Natalya. I know it's technically not my day to post, but I didn't think anyone would mind. :) I sure hope you all have fun getting to see things from my perspective.

I love history, so if some/many of my photos tie into that don't be surprised. :) I do reenacting too so I hope to get some great photos of some of the events I go to.

Blessings to all,
Natalya

Esther ~Week 10~

My family and I went to a Rebelution Conference with some friends!  If any of you have not heard of the Rebelution you must take a look at their website here.

Alex and Brett Harris have been encouraging a Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations, and reminding teenagers to use their teen years to the glory of God and not just party all through them. They wrote 2 books: "Do Hard Things" and "Start Here," both of which are really good books!  They have encouraged me to do hard things even when I think I can't.

This is some of my friends! (L-R: Me, Sara, Makay).

Esther ~Week 9~

I'm doing this now because I didn't have time on Wednesday!

I had the privilege of being a counselor at our Churches 4th-6th grade camp!  My kids in my room at camp!( Amy up in the left hand corner was the other counselor in our cabin).
The beautiful view at the camp we were at.  Those white things you see on the lake are blow-ups that
we all got to play on. It was so much fun.

This is everyone that came to camp,

The Lord truly gave us a great time at this camp.  Ten kids were saved, and that is what makes it all worth the while! We had so much fun being able to minister to all the kids! Thank you Lord for your saving grace!

Psalms 28:8
"The LORD is their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed."

Elaine-week 9

I was pretty much out of ideas for this post, so I decided to do something pretty funny! Esther and one of our other friends, Sarah, came to our house to surprise me for my birthday this year! We had a lot of fun and took some pretty silly pictures. They were supposed to look like senior pictures...but that didn't really work well :)

This was in the second story window of our barn. :)

This was our funniest picture--sweatshirts and sunglasses!

Proverbs 17:17-"A friend loves at all times!"
