Here we come......

Hello, this is Esther!

I started this blog last year.  I have been learning that in everything we do as Christians, we must have a purpose.  So, I started thinking about what this blog's purpose is.  My Dad has given workshops on how to make a Family Mission Statement, and I thought this blog needed a Mission Statement!

So, without further ado, here is Five Perspectives Mission Statement:

Five Perspectives Blog
Mission Statement

The purpose of the Five Perspectives blog
is to encourage each other by sharing about our daily lives through pictures
and sharing Scripture verses that are impacting our lives to the Glory of Jesus Christ!

I Thessalonians 5:11 says,
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”

Colossians 2:1-3 says,
“For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea
and for all who have not seen me face to face,
that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love,
to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery,
which is Christ,  in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Philippians 2:1-2 says,
“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love,
any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,
complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love,
being in full accord and of one mind.”

We are excited about what the coming year will hold for Five Perspectives as we pursue that purpose.

We are officially starting again next Monday!  We have a few newbies around here, so here is the new order of things!

Monday: Patricia

Tuesday: Amy

Wednesday: ME! (Esther Ruth)

Thursday: Tricia

Friday: Hanna

Thanks for joining us again this year!  Hope you are encouraged through reading this!  Posting will start this week...looking forward to a fun year!
